The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) are excited to announce the publication of the 2024 National Impact Assessment of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Quality Measures Report.

CMS has contracted with Acumen, LLC to develop episode-based cost measures to meet the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) requirements. Acumen is convening the Physician Cost Measures and Patient Relationship Codes (PCMP) Technical Expert Panel (TEP) for a virtual meeting to continue cost measure development and re-evaluation activities.

The 2023 Measures Under Consideration (MUC) List* and an Overview of the 2023 MUC List* have been published on the Measures Management System (MMS) Hub. 

The Guidebook of Policies and Procedures for Pre-Rulemaking Measure Review (PRMR) and Measure Set Review (MSR) is now available to download.

Last Chance to Participate in Endorsement & Maintenance (E&M) and Pre-Rulemaking Measure Review (PRMR) this Cycle

Battelle has extended the nomination period to join E&M and PRMR committees to 11:59 p.m. (ET) on August 14. Individuals and organizations may nominate themselves or others using the PQM nomination form. Nominations are closed for the Measure Set Review (MSR) committee. 

The Partnership for Quality Measurement (PQM) Guidebook of Policies and Procedures for Pre-Rulemaking Measure Review (PRMR) and Measure Set Review (MSR) is still available for public comment.
