The CMS Measures Under Consideration Entry/Review Information Tool (CMS MERIT) is now open for 2024 quality and efficiency measure submissions! CMS MERIT will remain open to accept measures until 8:00 PM ET on Friday, May 10, 2024.

Section 3014 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act established the CMS pre-rulemaking process for the selection of measures for adoption in select U.S. Department of Health & Human Services payment and performance programs. The pre-rulemaking process helps to support CMS’s goals to fill critical gaps in quality measurement and consider multi-interested party input on measure selection. CMS now invites the submission of candidate measures from measure developers/stewards until 8:00 PM ET on Friday, May 10, 2024.
