Announcements: Stay Up to Date
CMS Releases 2023 Change Review Process (CRP) for Electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQMs)
The CRP provides eCQM users the opportunity to review and comment on draft changes to the eCQM specifications and supporting resources under consideration by the measure steward. The goal of the CRP is for eCQM implementers to comment on the potential impact of draft changes to eCQMs so CMS and measure stewards can make improvements to meet CMS’ intent of minimizing provider and vendor burden in the collection, capture, calculation, and reporting of eCQMs. This latest installment of the CRP for eligible clinician and eligible hospital/critical access hospital issues is being conducted using eCQM Issue Tracker. An account is required to post a question or comment. Create an account.
Submit Measure Data to Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) by October 2
The deadline for hospitals to voluntarily submit data to Hospital IQR Program for the Hybrid Hospital-Wide All-Cause Readmission measure and/or the Hybrid Hospital-Wide All-Cause Risk Standardized Mortality measure is October 2. There is no impact to the fiscal year 2025 payment determination for hospitals that do not submit data on these measures during the voluntary period. These measure results will not be publicly reported. Visit the Electronic Clinical Quality Improvement (eCQI) Resource Center to learn more.
