View Updated Electronic Clinical Quality Measure (eCQM) Data Element Repository (DERep)
CMS has updated the eCQM DERep to provide information on eCQMs used in CMS quality reporting and incentive programs for the calendar year 2024 reporting and performance periods. The intent of eCQM DERep content is to improve clarity for those implementing eCQMs. It provides information on the data elements associated with eCQMs and their definitions. Each data element also includes the associated value set or the direct reference code (DRC), the Quality Data Model (QDM) datatype, the QDM attributes, and QDM entities used by that data element. eCQMs for 2024 reporting and performance period use QDM v5.6.
Submit Nominations for Partnership for Quality Measurement (PQM) Committees
Battelle is accepting nominations through 11:59 p.m. (ET) July 30 for select PQM committees supporting Endorsement & Maintenance (E&M), Pre-Rulemaking Measure Review (PRMR), and Measure Set Review (MSR). Committee members will have the opportunity to provide feedback on quality measures based on their lived experiences and areas of expertise. Individuals and organizations may nominate themselves or others using the PQM nomination form.
Claims-Based Measures (CBM) Specifications Manual Now Available
The CBM Specifications Manual for fiscal year 2024 of the Inpatient Psychiatric Facility Quality Reporting (IPFQR) Program is now available. CMS updates the specifications of the IPFQR Program’s claims-based measures annually to align with current clinical guidelines and code systems so that the measures remain relevant and actionable within the clinical care setting.
Nominations Now Open for Qualified Clinical Data Registries (QCDRs) or Qualified Registries
To be considered for the 2024 Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) performance period, QCDRs and/or Qualified Registries must submit their self-nomination form by 8 p.m. (ET) September 1. Intermediaries who intend to participate in MIPS as a QCDR and/or Qualified Registry must complete and submit a self-nomination form for each intermediary type for the 2024 MIPS performance period. Learn more by downloading the Self-Nomination Toolkit for QCDRs and Registries.
