The latest version of the CMS Measures Inventory Tool (CMIT) is now available! The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) invite you to access CMIT 2.6 — the repository of record for information about the measures CMS uses to promote health care quality and quality improvement. With today’s launch of CMIT 2.6, CMS is enhancing how you use the tool and is making the platform more intuitive. New features and enhancements include:

• Updated measure terminology and new CMIT IDs for easy identification and use,
• Inclusion of CMS Innovation Center (CMMI) model and demonstration measures,
• Integration of Cascade of Meaningful Measures categorization, and 
• Improved search functionality.
