Submit Public Comments on Timely Follow-up after Abnormal Cancer Screening Test eCQMs

The Brigham and Women’s Hospital has designed and developed two electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQMs) to report rates of timely follow-up after abnormal cancer screening tests. This information can help providers and health systems close the loop on abnormal screening tests and improve diagnostic excellence by reducing delays in cancer diagnosis.

As part of the measure development process, Brigham and Women’s Hospital requests interested parties to submit comments on the proposed specifications for two eCQMs:

  • Timely Follow-up on Positive Stool-based Screening Tests for Colorectal Cancer Detection
  • Timely Follow-up on Abnormal Screening Mammograms for Breast Cancer Detection

The eCQM specifications and supporting documents are available for Public Comment on the Current Public Comment Opportunities webpage. The call will be open from October 1st to October 15th. Please send your comments to asyrowatka@bwh.harvard.edu
