Register for June National Quality Strategy Webinar

The Battelle MMS team is pleased to invite the public to attend the upcoming webinar, “Advancing Excellence: CMS National Quality Strategy.” The National Quality Strategy is a long-term initiative promoting quality outcomes, safety, equity, and accessibility for all individuals, especially for people in historically underserved and under-resourced communities. There are two opportunities to attend; please select the one that works best for your schedule!

  • 1 – 2 p.m. (ET) Thursday, June 22 (Register)
  • 12 – 1 p.m. (ET) Tuesday, June 27 (Register)

Use De Novo Measure Scan to Speed Search Process

The De Novo Measure Scan (DNMS) compiles content from PubMed, PubMed Central, and CINAHL to one search process and allows you to specify search concepts specific to target populations, health outcomes/events, and care settings. DNMS is a free resource, located on the password-protected portion of CMS Measures Inventory Tool (CMIT). Request an account on the CMIT site.

Call for Feedback Extended for the Draft United States Core Data for Interoperability (USCDI)+ Quality Data Element List

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) requests feedback on the draft USCDI+ Quality data element list, particularly on its level of completeness, level of specificity, and usefulness of the companion guidance. Comments are due by 11:59 p.m. (ET) Friday, June 30. Comments can be submitted to the USCDI+ Quality tracker on the ONC Project Tracking System. To submit a comment, you must have an active Jira account. If you do not have one, create an account.

Attend Partnership for Quality Measurement (PQM) Informational Session

Register to attend an informational session from 12 – 2 p.m. (ET) Friday, June 30 to

  • Discuss the new quality measure endorsement and maintenance process beginning Fall 2023.
  • Learn about PQM membership and the timeline for committee nominations.
  • Understand the process for submitting public comments.

Following the webinar, attendees will have the opportunity to review the new PQM Endorsement and Maintenance Guidebook and provide feedback. Visit the PQM website for more information.

Register for Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) for Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) Survey

Registration is now open for groups, subgroups, virtual groups, and Alternative Payment Model (APM) entities intending to administer the CAHPS for MIPS Survey as part of their traditional MIPS, MIPS Value Pathway (MVP), or APM Performance Pathway (APP) reporting.
