Comment on the Total Per Capita Cost (TPCC) Measure Now Through May 17

The public comment period for the Total Per Capita Cost (TPCC) cost measure is now open! The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and its contractor, Acumen, LLC, are gathering input on the TPCC measure to determine refinements to the measure’s attribution methodology. The TPCC measure was re-specified and added to the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) in performance year 2020. As part of the comprehensive re-evaluation process, Acumen, with CMS, is now considering refinements to the TPCC measure. You are invited to submit feedback on the TPCC measure via an online survey between now and May 17, 2024, at 11:59 PM ET.

Please feel free to share this message with anyone who may be interested in providing input on the TPCC measure. You can find more details about the public comment posting and participation below.
